Today is my sister's 21st birthday.
It's hard to believe, because it's been looked forward to for so long, it seems odd that it has arrived. No longer will we have to sneek into pubs for live Irish music! No longer will we have to wisk her to the back for darts and pool! Never again must she miss out on kareoke night or the rave!
Tonight, my little sister bought the first alcoholic drink in a restaurant she could drink without checking for wait-staff. It brings a tear to the eye.
